A delegation from the Republic of Korea led by the Member of National Assembly Park Byeong-Seug called on Lyonchoen Tshering Tobgay yesterday in Thimphu. Lyonchoen said Bhutan has enjoyed close cooperation and partnership spanning over 28 years with South Korea and requested the delegation to consider Bhutan to be on its list of Employment Permit System, so that Bhutan can send Bhutanese youth to work in Korea. Byeong Seug agreed to take it up with his government in South Korea. Lyonchoen and Byeong Seug also discussed on strengthening bilateral relations and people-to-people contact by fostering trade, promoting investment, agriculture, education, IT and tourism among others.
